Pisceans often feel like they are being pulled in different directions, making it difficult to make concrete decisions. The symbol of the fish has been associated with followers of Jesus Christ.

The glyph for Pisces can be seen as depicting two fish swimming in opposite directions. As well, it shows two crescents of receptivity pointing outwards, held together by the line of matter. The sign of Pisces is considered a receptive sign--one that is impressionable, spiritual, and open-minded.

As the twelfth and last sign of the zodiac, Pisces contains within itself a little experience of all the signs. This gives Pisces Suns the ability to identify with people from all walks of life—from all backgrounds—in some way. These individuals are not only changeable and adaptable, they have open minds and tremendous understanding. But Pisces itself is often misunderstood(!!). Pisces Suns may spend a good portion of their lives yearning for understanding, and the other part in a state of divine discontent. Suffering is sometimes glamorized in the Piscean world.

Sun in Pisces people are frequently pegged as wishy-washy, but this is all a matter of opinion. What you will find behind a vaguely directionless, spacey manner is a deep person with real dreams. Their dreams are more than getting that picket fence or making it up the corporate ladder. Pisces are tuned in to a higher purpose and their dreams transcend the individual. A deep love for humanity, and compassion that knows no bounds is found with this placement of the Sun.

Pisceans are not known to be cut-throat business types, nor are they given to throwing themselves out into the world in an aggressive manner. But make no mistake about it, Pisces can be extraordinarily successful when given the chance to express themselves. The arts, marketing, music, teaching, drama, healing arts...these are all fields in which Pisces can find expression. Their imagination, attunement to humanity, and remarkable intuition endow them with enviable gifts of insight and creativity.

Pisces is a sensitive sign—both sensitive to criticism and sensitive to others' feelings. Easily touched by human suffering, at least in theory, Pisces wouldn't hurt a fly. They believe in people, are deeply hurt by compassion-less human behavior, and have a hard time saying no. Harsh realities are avoided either through escapist behavior or self-delusion; but every now and again reality does raise its ugly head, and hits Pisces over the head. This is a sad time indeed. Pisces retreats into their own world, self-pitying and giving pep talks to themselves ("I will never trust again!"). Rest assured, though, that these periods are rather short-lived and even useful. Pisces seems to derive energy from their (generally short) bouts of self-pity. They come back stronger, with a spring in their step, ready to face the world again, and just as, if not more, compassionate and trusting as they were before. Some might even wonder if Pisces finds pleasure in suffering (:P). Sometimes this is the case, but most of the time, Pisces pulls a lot of creative energy from sadness. Pisces is the poet or artist with angst, although this trait is often more apparent with Moon in Pisces.

Some find Pisces' tendency to be late for appointments, spaced out behavior, and absent-mindedness amount to irresponsibility. Pisces would be shocked to know this, however. Who me? Pisces wonders. Irresponsible? Pisces Suns absolutely care—their love knows no bounds—but their retreats from ordinary life (whether they are as simple as daydreams or actual departures) that they so seem to need every now and again are not always understandable to no-nonsense signs, such as Virgo or Aries.

Many Pisces seem almost allergic to things like shopping lists, maps, directions, and instructions, and for some brave souls, even watches — they prefer to feel their way through life than to follow some plan.

We find plenty of artists, poets, and musicians with Sun (and other personal planets) in Pisces. Piscean themes are woven throughout the songs of Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins and Kurt Cobain of Nirvana, for example.

Some Famous People with Sun in Pisces: Elizabeth Barrett Browning (Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Mars in Pisces), Drew Barrymore (Sun and Venus in Pisces), Kurt Cobain (Sun, Mercury, and Venus in Pisces), Smashing Pumpkins' Billy Corgan, Cindy Crawford, Billy Crystal (Sun, Mercury, and Mars in Pisces), Albert Einstein, George Harrison, Kato Kaelin (Sun and Moon in Pisces), Jennifer Love Hewitt, Freddie Prinze Jr., Michelangelo, Aidan Quinn (Sun and Moon in Pisces), Rob Reiner (Sun, Mercury, and Mars in Pisces), Dr. Seuss, Sharon Stone, Elizabeth Taylor (Sun, Mercury, and Mars in Pisces), Bruce Willis

Capricorn Ascendant
There's a seriousness to Capricorn rising people that is unmistakable. Even when they're joking around, it's of the deadpan variety. In fact, plenty of very humorous people have Capricorn Ascendants. It's all in the timing...and the fact that they don't giggle before the joke is over.
Capricorn Ascendant people project competence. They simply ooze it. They're generally very image-conscious people—the clothes they wear and their manner are a big deal to them. They want to appear successful, and they generally succeed!

Often the Ascendant persona is the one that was forced upon family conditioning. For example, parents may label their Libra Ascendant child the "nice" one; their Aries Ascendant child the "independent" one; and their Pisces Ascendant child is generally the space cadet of the family. We adopt these roles as familiar ones, and often carry them with us as our defense mechanisms, in some way or another, for the rest of our lives. In the case of Capricorn Ascendants, these were the children who were considered the responsible ones. Sometimes, it was they themselves who looked around them and felt the need to be the structured, dependable, and responsible members of the family. So, often, Capricorn rising people adopted a strong sense of tradition, family, and responsibility at a very young age.

Capricorn rising people are generally big on family, and forever worry about security—for themselves and their dependents. They come across to others as hard-working, competent, and dependable people. What others may not see under that cool, even suave, exterior, is an inner struggle: they often ask themselves, "Am I doing enough?", "Do I deserve all of this?", "How can I make things better?" They worry a lot about the future.

If success seemed to have come easy to these folks, it hasn't. They just made it look that way with a patient, hard-working, driven personality. Some Capricorn rising people practice some form of self-denial. They know how to do away with the frivolous. Still, they'll spend money on the clothes they really want (the ones with the right labels, that is) (!!), and other status symbols. Although they're rarely showy, their quiet air of success is often a result of conscious effort.

More often than not, Capricorn rising individuals are success stories. Their childhoods may have been difficult, but they slowly but surely turn their lives around. Saturn rules this Ascendant, and this generally means a kind of backwards way of living—as children, they are serious and bear a lot of responsibility; and as they grow up, they age beautifully, learning how to loosen up. More on Capricorn Rising.

Celebrity examples of Capricorn Ascendant are George Burns, James Belushi, Paul Newman, and Alan Alda.

Moon in Scorpio
While others may find security and comfort in material things, Moon in Scorpio people seek out emotional intensity. No matter what, there is something very intense about Lunar Scorpios. They are diggers when it comes to the world of emotion--they can see beyond facades and cut right to the core of a person. This ability to "see" what isn't obvious to the rest of the world can be intimidating to others or wildly attractive, depending on the audience.
Their deep-seated need for transformation and rebirth can manifest itself in the lives of Lunar Scorpios in different ways. Most have powerful, emotionally intense lives. Some feel like it is beyond their control -- these natives seem to attract emotional upheaval, and their lives appear to consist of plenty of dramatic ups and downs. However, when accepted as an emotional need, rebirth and change doesn't need to be so dramatic and overwhelming. In some way or the other, Moon in Scorpio natives seek out intense experiences. If their lives are regular in any way, there can be an unconscious need to test their own strength and stir up emotional excitement. Self-awareness and acceptance is probably the best way to handle this deep need for emotional drama.

Doing things halfway or having meaningless relationships simply doesn't fulfill them. Lunar Scorpios want all or nothing.

Moon in Scorpio people often have a strong fear of betrayal. They seek out commitment, and feel the need for a partner to give up something for them. Some will put the people they love through a series of tests, and these are not always conscious. Their apparent suspicion can be trying for the people who love them. However, once committed, Moon in Scorpio people can be the most loyal and protective partners around.

Even the shy ones have enormous presence. Their lives are emotion-driven, yet many Moon in Scorpio natives spend a lot of time controlling and mastering their emotions. Their intuition is enormous, although it is sometimes self-serving.

Moon in Scorpio people radiate strength. Even in the absence of experience, they seem to "just know" things. It would be difficult to shock or scare away Lunar Scorpios in the face of emotional honesty and power. Some people instinctively want to lean on them, and other less brave folk run a little scared. Lunar Scorpios have exceptional "radar" that allows them to size up a situation--and a person--quickly and expertly(!). This ability to understand human motivation and nature can be too close for comfort for some, and enormously comforting for others.

Many Lunar Scorpios are intelligent and astute. Those that use their enormous powers for intimacy and honesty are the happiest, and they make the most interesting and rewarding friends and lovers.

Some Famous people with Moon in Scorpio: Ben Affleck, Lauren Bessette (Sun, Moon, and Mercury in Scorpio), Bjork, Shannen Doherty, Eminem, Whoopi Goldberg (Sun, Moon, and Mercury in Scorpio), Harry Hamlin (Sun, Moon, and Mercury in Scorpio), Elizabeth Hurley, Avril Lavigne, Alanis Morissette, David Schwimmer (Sun, Moon, and Venus in Scorpio), Steven Spielberg (Moon and Venus in Scorpio), Patrick Stewart

Correction to your Astrology signs

Capricorn - Jan 20 to Feb 16
Aquarius - Feb 16 to Mar 11
Pisces - Mar 11 to Apr 18 (18 March)
Aries - Apr 18 to May 13
Taurus - May 13 to Jun 21
Gemini - Jun 21 to Jul 20
Cancer - Jul 20 to Aug 10
Leo - Aug 10 to Sep 16
Virgo - Sep 16 to Oct 30
Libra - Oct 30 to Nov 23
Scorpius - Nov 23 to Nov 29
Ophiuchus - Nov 29 to Dec 17
Sagittarius - Dec 17 to Jan 20

READ : http://www.livescience.com/strangenews/your-astronomical-sign.html
TO DETERMINE: http://www.livescience.com/widgets/birthday.html

A dull beginning

<img style="margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; Never be the last mom to sign up..the only thing left…jello.

I brought jello last time and really wanted to do cupcakes or cookies or something fun. Reluctantly I signed up for jello, again.

But I didn’t make just jello. Oh no, not me. I made JELLO!

I picked up a 6oz box of blue, yellow and red jello plus a box of knox gelatin. To get these fabulous layers, mix the blue jello with an envelope of the knox gelatin. Pour in two cups of boiling water. Dissolve the gelatin. Add 1/2 cup of ice. Stir until thick. Remove any remaining ice cubes and any bubbles that may have formed. Pour into a 9×13 inch pan. Let set in the refrigerator.

Repeat with the yellow jello and pour it over the set blue. Repeat with the red jello and pour it over the yellow. And there you have it, Rainbow Jello.

I won’t go into the whole primary and secondary color thing, but these colors, when stacked upon each other, create other colors. There is not an orange or green layer. It just looks like it when the red and yellow layers touch and then yellow and blue layers touch. Pretty cool.

Oh, and these can be made and cut a day ahead."

What's behind a pretty face?

With lingering suggestions of the mass media that a pretty woman/man is this and this and that, it is no wonder why the generation has regressed into a self-absorbed, "the ends justifies the means" kind of people. So what's a pretty face for if behind it are merely things like deceit, sexual immorality and habitual philandering? After all, once you're through with one pretty face, it's about time you move on for the next pretty face, is it?

What ever happened to happily ever after? In happiness in sadness, in wealth and in poverty and the rest of those?

If there's nothing left to hold on to, must we join them since we couldn't stay better than the rest? Why are we looking for partners we look forward to cherish for the rest of our lives, despite realising that it's literally temporary..maybe lasting no more than 5, 10 years - at best? I'm getting old, no doubt, I'm still deciding on whether to stay my course or join them.

I'm slowly bleeding, oozing love out each time I reach dead ends or found myself fighting a losing battle. In the end, there will only be me, for if I do not care to love myself and keep myself "safe and warm", each neutrino that passes through me is accelerating my demise. Perhaps not the literal demise, but the demise of my morality and spirits of chivalry. You may berate me as a dying breed. I suppose I am old-fashioned. I must have reinvented an unwanted novelty within myself.

A good night, a good morning, a new dawn sparks a new glitter of hope over the horizon, I just hope it's not a mirage.

Quiz day...

Stumbled upon this site with plenty of silly surveys. It's irritating and exasperating - as for the good things that comes in droves, things turn anti-climatic consequentially.

Well, as for this week, it has been an exasperating week. My golf shoe sole "crocodiled", I caught flu after so many years, which totally sucked, the washing machine acted up and I opened it up to find over RM2.00 worth of coins in the water drain-out valve, unceremoniously my cat had a case of the runs and crapped indiscriminately which I had to clean as well.

As all of that happened, I was still occupied with the crap and the machine thingy and my customer called for tech help. I answered, it's fine, half way the conversation, my cellphone battery exhausted and died on me and I went up to recharge it.

As I came downstairs, dad called and told me about finalizing my training documents for submission by tomorrow. I had to write 2 separate formal letters in BM within 30minutes and go through checklists to get the forms and all that in sequence. Just then, I found that some copies are missing and my offer letter copies aren't stamped '"certified as to true copy".

Then my mouse died on me, which by the way - I purchased last night -- because the bearing ball mouse which I purchased few weeks ago died on me last night which I promptly replaced with a new one. I went back to the store to get it replaced. The people there tested it and true indeed, it's faulty. They got another set, same model, same make - also faulty - it's their stock, mind you. The 3rd set, also faulty. Fourth set - ALSO faulty.

So I ended up choosing another mouse which is 3/4 of my palm size and becoz this replacement that I chose costs about RM10 less than the faulty one, I had to pick something to even the price.

So I ended up having a mouse that's smaller than my palm and TWO mousepads I don't need. Geez...

To top it all up, a friend texted me, calling me to immediately fly to KL coz she's going to kill herself. I mean, give me a break. What am I supposed to do? Go there and watch her die and be arrested for causing her death?? That's one way to look at it, on the other hand, I have about a tonne of work to do here in Kuching and I cannot afford to procrastinate.

Sigh... and mucus dribbles off my left nose... no, i'm tired, i'm not going to wipe it...
Right kerfuffle...

Lonesome weekday

Feeling somewhat at odds with several things around me these few days. Some things and people could never let me attain my peace of mind - literally. Sometimes I wish I could just whack some people who does that to me and just move on with my life. So arrogant, it's like having a pungent dunk wrapped and coiled around you. Ugh.. the frustration!

I seriously need a cup of well-brewed coffee.

Work? Business as usual and I'm contemplating on leaving my trade licenses idle if I were to leave Kuching, but I've not decided yet.

Sigh... it's slowly killing me all these waiting.

It's a slow Wednesday morning, I've got a pile of work staring at me.

Somehow I got reminded of an oldie by Bobby Vinton. (a) 7, (b) 6, (c) 4, (d) 2, (e) 1
10. (a) 4, (b) 2, (c) 3, (d) 5, (e) 6, (f) 1

Now add up the total number of points.

OVER 60 POINTS:

Others see you as someone they should "handle with care."
You're seen as vain, self-centered and one who is extremely domineering. Others may admire you, wishing they could be more like you, but don't always trust you, hesitating to become too deeply involved with you.

51 TO 60 POINTS:

Others see you as an exciting, highly volatile, rather impulsive personality; a natural leader, one who's quick to make decisions, though not always the right ones. They see you as bold and adventuresome, someone who will try anything once; someone who takes chances and enjoys an adventure. They enjoy being in your company because of the excitement you radiate.

41 TO 50 POINTS:

Others see you as fresh, lively, charming, amusing, practical and always interesting; someone who's constantly in the center of attention, but sufficiently well-balanced not to let it go to their head. They also see you as kind, considerate, and understanding; someone who'll always cheer them up and help them out.

31 TO 40 POINTS:

Others see you as sensible, cautious, careful and practical. They see you as clever, gifted, or talented, but modest. Not a person who makes friends too quickly or easily, but someone who's extremely loyal to friends you do make and who expect the same loyalty in return. Those who really get to know you realize it takes a lot to shake your trust in your friends, but equally that it takes you a long time to get over it if that trust is ever broken.

21 TO 30 POINTS:

Your friends see you as painstaking and fussy. They see you as very cautious, extremely careful, a slow and steady plodder. It would really surprise them if you ever did something impulsively or on the spur of the moment, expecting you to examine everything carefully from every angle and then usually decide against it. They think this reaction is caused partly by your careful nature.

UNDER 21 POINTS:

People think you are shy, nervous and indecisive, someone who needs looking after, who always wants someone else to make the decisions and who doesn't want to get involved with anyone or anything! They see you as a worrier who always sees problems that don't exist. Some people think you're boring. Only those who know you well know that you aren't.

Andy - Believe

Remains a plan at the moment.

Would feature multiple genres to sample the market and vocal suitability to various genre - ranging from oldies to newer pop patterns.

Hmm.. Most people simply work to earn money just so that they could use it to spend on something or paying off things. Quite simply they WORK FOR MONEY.

More often than not, at some point in our lives, we find ourselves stuck in a 'hamster wheel'-like cycle, almost forever running for the dangling carrot in front of you (salary and just plain money). Once we get them we have the tendency to just spend it all to make ourselves feel good, because our minds, we say "I deserve it". I'll touch on that some other day.

Back to the initial point in this - to receive quick money isn't wealth in itself. It can be converted to wealth if used wisely. Wealth is only wealth when assets are tied to you, assets that belongs to you. A car isn't an asset until it's paid off for. It's still a liability to you until you finish paying your hire purchase loan. The same for the house you bought. Unless it's paid for , you will and must pay for the loan repayments every month, regardless if you're earning salaries/wages or not.

See the big picture. Gifts are nice, but don't call me billionaire if you gave me a billion in cash, once I'm taxed, I'd probably be owing the government money in taxes more than the nett value of the cash gift.

Be the one to receive the proverbial fishing rod, rather than the fish alone.

With a fish, you can eat for a day, with a fishing rod, u can fish more thereafter.

Make money work for you, don't work for money.

16 September 1963

Well, that's when Malaysia alliance federation was formed. It included Sabah, Sarawak and Singapore. That's why I do not celebrate Merdeka. To be merdeka is to be independent, to be merdeka is to be not colonialised or ruled over by other people or other race. The government opted for ought to be for the plural society, to serve all, not marginalise others.

As I grew older I started to understand the underlying meanings and motives of all of that, it kinda hit me hard that all the while, since young we were instilled with blind beliefs in the system that things are equal, bla bla bla.. Rubbish talk. In the circumstances, we're better off in a socialist system. At least a country of socialist system can be proud that they sent a true qualified person to space in their own spacecraft instead of blowing up people with explosives just to buy some lousy equipment that's pretty much useless in it's elements. I don't see the point in purchasing noisy equipments that's supposed to be quiet.

I suppose it came at a right time that Anwar Ibrahim is standing up for Malaysia's brand of democracy revolution, so to speak. Let's just hope it doesn't back fire and we're not "off the pan, straight into the fire".

PAS and UMNO forming an alliance? I don't see why other BN component parties shouldn't start their own alliance to defend the rest of us. Just because certain quarters are upholding the truth, they'd be labelled seditious. When they fail to lead, they can only kick and shove the blames at each other like a bunch of people playing "sepak takraw". It's so innate in their blood that they do that. They're still stuck to their own times that they fail to quickly adapt to the changing world enviroments and political weather . Oh wait, some of them are simply too caught up in racking up monies and assets for themselves before they leave their posts and the country for broke, saving up until they have to abandon ship.

The country is being hawk-eyed by United States waiting for the opportunity to swoop down and capitalise on the demise of sensible governance. If things ever turn ugly, I'd rather get Russian hardware to defend myself with.

Will Sabah cecede? Will Sarawak go down the same path if it's neighbour ever does? It makes me wonder, while some of the ignorant Westies are berating how backward Sabah & Sarawak are, they never stopped to ponder what really helped them to be how they are now (Kelantan and Terengganu exempted).

Ah, there they are, my neighbours - orang utans from Sepilok. They usually bring bacon and bbq wild boar meat for fellowship gatherings, unlike some people who just lay around not needing to work and wait for their ration of rice and chocolate drinks to arrive.

In any case, as a Sarawakian, I'll climb back up to my tree house, since my computer made out of banana leaves and orang utan droppings find no WiMAX signal within line of sight. Oh...wait, my tree isn't in Klang Valley.. My eagle eyes are lazy, my mind pays less attention to minute details.
Should I let that be a habit? I refuse to, they must be regained.

I mean what I say and I only say what I mean. Deception isn't my style, deceit leads to complexity, deceit leads the mind to wander off course. The more airtime your tongue, gets the stupider you'd seem to sound. By saying that, it almost went without saying I'm better off keeping mum than to say so much just to please your eyes and ears. It is after all for the betterment of everyone as a whole.

Eat less, chew more, talk less, listen more - and then all good things will be yours. It is the pointless acts of gluttony and greed that led us to the state the world is in. To continue our course as how it has always been would only accelerate our demise from the planet. Sounds heavy to you? Why change the world if you don't change yourself. It takes 100 1 cents to come up with a dollar, therefore YOU are part of the world population too. If I change 5 minds and you do the same, the reciprocated exponentiation of the mindset change may be the whole 'dollar'.

Wind Cave

It was a hot Sunday afternoon, so I drove myself, my dad, my brother and two cousins to Wind Cave in Bau (pronounced "Bauk") to chill out at the river near the cave opening.
